• APC’s seeking full licensure are required to complete no less than 2000 Direct Work Experience (DWE )hours.

• APC’s are required to complete no less than 75 hours of supervision.

• APC’s must achieve their hours in no less than two years post-graduation.

• Supervisors must have the CPCS or ACS credential in order to supervise APC’s in Georgia.

• APC’s may receive up to ONE year of Supervision from a Psychiatrist or Psychologist, with the remaining time with a CPCS or ACS.

Your supervisor may be on or off-site or they may provide supervision remotely.

Yes, however, every site must have a Director. You must complete a contract affidavit for every Director and have them sign, notarize, and send to the board within TWO WEEKS of changing or adding an employer.
